I am currently walking through what many call the sandwich years. I am caring for my 86-year-old mother and also dealing with an adult child that is struggling with addiction problems. My sister had sent me a link to an Instagram post from Kathy Cunningham that was very helpful for a situation I was dealing with with my mother. Unbeknownst to me, as I reviewed some of her posts, I found even more information that supported me in dealing with my son‘s addiction troubles, and how to best help him.
On top of that, the first two months of programming were dealing with addiction and codependency, which are both issues I’m being challenged with. Some may say it was coincidence, but I truly believe it was God working in my life. These past several months have changed my outlook on myself, my mother, and my son. Every lesson, guest speaker, and Instagram post has spoken directly to me, and I will be forever grateful for this group. It’s awesome to have a place to go to share your thoughts and feelings with others going through the same struggles and gain such incredible insight.

I'm Kathy
I’ve always believed healing is possible—especially when we surrender what we can’t fix to the God who can. And with our part of intentional growth, and a willing heart.
As a Christian counselor/coach, ordained minister, and mother of adult children, I know firsthand the joy and heartbreak that can come with this season of parenting. After decades of working with families—and walking through my own journey of restoration—I’ve seen how God can bring beauty from brokenness and wisdom from even the hardest places.
For over 35 years, I've helped individuals and families navigate emotional wounds, strained relationships, and spiritual confusion. But the work I’m most passionate about today is helping parents like you step into a new season—where emotional maturity replaces fear, prayer replaces pressure, and peace replaces guilt.
My courses, teachings and membership are rooted in biblical truth, real-life experience, and proven tools that will strengthen your spirit, clarify your mind, and restore connection with your adult children.
